Welcome to my website.
I am an Accredited Counsellor with the BACP and am a UK Reg. Ind. Counsellor and Therapist.
I am a well presented, competent Integrative Counsellor, with comprehensive training covering numerous theoretical fields and enhanced by placements within the fields of primary care and the government sector. I have a commitment to work with clients and have an understanding, non-judgemental and empathic approach to therapy, which is contained within a firm ethical framework. Past careers have provided a broad spectrum of experience throughout a multitude of areas, which inform as well as assist with the understanding of client's needs and requirements.
Private Practice in South East London
I work from my private practice, which has access for wheelchairs, and I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which has a predominant Psychodynamic bias. I also use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques to assist with the work. I have over 29 years of practical experience within the public sector. This includes skills developed in Psychiatry, Law and Criminal Justice, Child Protection, Domestic Violence and much more.
I also work internationally with the aid of web-cam and Skype and utilize telephone counselling for this purpose too.
